A life with the Author

She completely gave herself to him

[3rd POV : Yuki]

Yuito Fujita.

That was the name of the boy.

That was the name of 'home'.

.

.

.

Yuito Fujita was a weird boy.

In fact, Yuito Fujita was probably the weirdest boy she had ever seen. And that is coming from a girl who was half-human, half-wolf.

Yuki had seen some weird things in her life. Yet the boy claimed the first position.

After all, who in their right mind brings home a random wolf as a pet? Weren't humans suppose to hate wolves? They were always depicted as the bad guys in every story after all.

And who in their right mind talks to a wolf? Or treat them as a normal dog and forcefully bathe them? Wasn't he afraid of her?

Yuito is crazy.

His mother was the one who was normal. She was afraid, she was suspicious and she judged Yuki.

That was normal. And safe.

Yuki thinks that Yuito should do that more too. She thinks that Yuito should learn how to ignore people and not just help anyone and everyone.

He had done this to her by saving her from that speeding truck before and now he was doing it again. He was helping her, even though she was selfish and was running away.

He was as kind as he smelled.

His touch felt strange too. Bathing with him was probably the most embarrassing thing Yuki had ever done in her life.

He was also very very strong. So strong that Yuki felt like she wouldn't be able to harm him at all even if she tried. This greatly relieved her as she didn't want to hurt him as she had hurt that kid back then.

(Note : In the Original Movie, Yuki hurt a boy from her class when she was a kid. It was because she couldn't control her instincts and the boy was invading her personal space)

He touched every single part of her and treated her like his own pet. She didn't know why but she liked that very much.

Being his 'pet'.

Because he took her pain away.

Yes, Yuki did not feel the ache in her heart when she was with him. She didn't feel alone when he was with her.

At the beginning, she had cried in his arms and wailed until she couldn't anymore but after that everything was gone.

He made everything go away.

Yuki felt extremely guilty. She felt that she did something wrong by not being sad anymore. Would her mother be mad that she was not sad anymore?

She wasn't sure. Or more like she didn't care anymore.

Maybe that's why she was feeling guilty, not because she was no longer sad but because she didn't care anymore.

It felt like she had left her human self in that countryside, in her old home. It felt like her human side had also died along with her mother.

Now what was left was only the wolf.

The wolf who was now Yuito's.

His wolf.

It felt weird and wrong at first. She had decided to live her life as a human after all even while her brother decided to live his life as a wolf.

She had made the decision back then. So it was wrong to suddenly become a wolf again.

But after a short time with him, it became natural.

Because she was not in pain when she was just a wolf. It might sound weird but she was free when she was 'his' wolf. His pet.

It felt like all her pain, all her bad memories and all her loneliness evaporated from her heart. Because it was no longer hers but Yuito's.

After all she was now Yuito's.

Everything she had, from her pain, her past and her life. It became 'his'. It was his responsibility now.

Not hers.

It was a twisted way in which she coped with her pain and grief.

By completely shifting them on Yuito's shoulder while she was free from all of them.

She was no longer in pain, she was no longer lonely, she was no longer feeling guilty. Because they were not hers anymore.

They were his.

She was his.

He owns her.

He now owns her everything.

Every pain.

Every grief.

..

..

Yuki couldn't help but laugh at her own crazy thoughts but she didn't stop herself. She would do anything to no longer suffer anymore.

She apologized to her mother in her heart.

'Sorry but I can't bear it anymore. I don't want to be human anymore. I want to be like Ame. I want to be a wolf.'

'And be Yuito's.'

She was a coward. She couldn't even face her own pain. She was just running away, she knows.

But she felt like it would be fine. She was now Yuito's. She wasn't responsible for her wellbeing now. He was.

She was killing off her own humanity which was causing her only pain and truly embraced her wolf side.

She was no longer a human girl Yuki. But a wolf owned by a boy named Yuito.

She no longer suppressed her instincts. She no longer tried to think human or act human. She was now a wolf. She was now his.

She had made that decision.

Call her a coward. Call her crazy. Call her insane. Call her a traitor. Call her a bad daughter. Call her human.

She no longer cared.

Because she had made a decision.

.

.

.

"What is your name I wonder?" Yuito asked her as he pulled her close.

He was tightly wrapping his arms around her and sharing his heat. He was completely eradicating the loneliness she used to feel.

And after she had come to that decision. After she had decided to be a wolf and be his.

His touch had become pleasant. And his scent was the only thing on her mind.

"Should I give you a new name?" He asked again and Yuki nodded.

She wanted a new name.

A name given to her by Yuito. Something which would mark her rebirth as a wolf and death as a human.

"Kurumi." He named her.

Kurumi.

Kurumi.

Kurumi.

Kurumi.

That was her. Yuki is dead now.

"From now on you will be Kurumi. Cute right?" Yuito said and he began talking about her new name and how cute it was.

Kurumi = Walnut. Because apparently her fur reminded Yuito of walnut.

Soon, Yuito drift off to sleep.

Or should she call him master now?

Her master's arm became lose and limp but Kurumi did not move away. Instead she snuggled closer to her master and seek his warmth, his embrace.

"I will be in your care from now on." Yuki said and completely gave herself in his hands.

And she was no longer burdened with her pain and her past anymore. For she was 'his' now. She no long owned such a thing. It was all his now.

His pain, his past and his problem. Not her's.

"Sleep well master." Kurumi said and went to sleep too.

The one who woke up the next day was no longer Yuki, the human girl.

It was Kurumi. Yuito's pet wolf.

Yuki is gone now.

Yuki Kurumi took her place.
