Chapter 120: Chapter 118: The Power of the Dark Knight Armor
Marvel's superheroes, unlike those in *One Punch Man*, often lacked the raw, intense combat capabilities to decisively finish off enemies. While Marvel heroes held back on bloodshed, the heroes of *One Punch Man* wielded brutal techniques to dispatch monsters, each showcasing their own style.
On the battlefield, punches that could level tanks and tear through solid rock pounded into the bodies of the Deep Sea tribe. These creatures, visibly excited, seemed to relish the challenge as they raised their forearms like shields to absorb the blows. The ground around them shattered from the impact, dust and gravel swirling around.
The Stone Man, Ben Grimm, believed he had the upper hand; after all, few could withstand such relentless strikes. But, only he knew the truth: this was a monstrous opponent. His teammates were already bogged down by the ever-growing number of deep-sea invaders, and the military had suffered heavy losses—numerous War Machines, an Iron Overlord, and several tanks lay destroyed.
A creature from the Deep Sea tribe sneered as it spat green blood onto the ground. "Is that all you've got?" it taunted. With a sickening snap, its fractured jaw shifted back into place, the wounds regenerating almost instantly.
The Stone Man lay battered in a half-meter-deep crater, his rocky skin cracked. He was losing strength, feeling the weight of his injuries. The Deep Sea creature mocked him, "This attack is pointless. I'll enjoy devouring you!"
Unknown to them, they were temporary constructs created by Zod from atoms, each granted a limited consciousness. In a few days, they would disintegrate regardless.

Zod observed the battle from a rooftop, arms crossed. The superheroes and military were struggling, their forces dwindling against the relentless Deep Sea tribe. Even as the military poured in more reinforcements, tanks and helicopters proved ineffective. Only a limited number of War Machines and Iron Overlords had the flexibility to hold their ground.
"Well, time for me to join," Zod decided.
From his toes, black nanobots surged over his body, forming a sleek, jet-black armor—the Dark Knight armor. He rose effortlessly and dropped into the thick of the battle.
"Dark Knight Zod!"
"He's here!" murmured Blade and Daredevil, standing in awe alongside Venom and Spider-Man.
Without hesitation, one of the Deep Sea creatures charged at Zod. Zod raised a fist and threw a punch with the force of a cannon. A deafening shockwave rippled through the air, and the creature exploded mid-strike, its body obliterated.
Nick Fury, watching from S.H.I.E.L.D., was stunned. "Did he upgrade his armor again?"
Zod's previous appearances had never displayed this level of power, leading many to assume his suit had seen improvements. None suspected this was Zod's natural strength, as his reputation as a genius inventor overshadowed his physical capabilities.
Another creature lunged from behind, but Zod vanished, leaving only a lingering afterimage. He reappeared behind the beast, a high-frequency nanotech blade forming in his hand. With a single swing, he cleaved the creature in half, the vibrating blade instantly turning its blood into mist.
A third creature landed a punch directly on Zod's head, but he stood firm, unmoved by the blow.
Johnny Storm, watching from above, marveled at the suit. "That armor's incredible! Reed, can you build something like that?"
Reed Richards shook his head, "Not likely. I can't even begin to understand its design."
Just as Zod seemed ready to handle the battlefield single-handedly, a roar of engines sounded from above, and hundreds of flame-tailed jets streaked through the sky.
"Wait… Is that…?"
"The War Machine Legion?" someone asked uncertainly.
Leading the squad was none other than Tony Stark, his iconic red-and-gold Iron Man suit shining in the sunlight. Stark's voice echoed as he flew to the front lines. Hundreds of Iron Man suits swooped down, flanking the War Machines and Iron Overlords to assist in the fight.
Zod noted, however, that these suits were mass-produced models, lacking the specialized firepower of the House Party suits seen in earlier battles. The Iron Man army put on an impressive show, but their firepower was insufficient against the Deep Sea tribe. They attracted attention but could do little real damage.
Realizing his suits weren't enough, Tony grit his teeth. "These things are tougher than I expected."
Meanwhile, all eyes returned to Zod. Unlike the Iron Man suits, his every move delivered devastation. He cleaved through one creature after another with the nanotech blade, delivering powerful punches that shattered the beasts in his path. Though he moved steadily, his efficiency was unmatched, and his impact on the battlefield was impossible to ignore.
With each swing of his blade and every punch thrown, Zod's presence in the battle grew, the Dark Knight taking command of the battlefield.
