Chapter 1623: The What?
Archer was sitting on the top deck with a pad of paper and pens, drawing blueprints for the floating towns and cities. The women left him alone as he busied himself, he picked up the cup of ale and down the sweet liquid as thunder boomed overhead. He glanced up, seeing dark cloud covering the sky.
''Damn winter is a pain in the ass,'' he muttered.
After hours, he came up with all kinds of designs that he'd show Dellah who will draft the final one using the ones he created. Once that was done, he stored them in his Item Box after wrapping a string around it. Just then, Elara appeared in the nearby doorway, her blue eyes full of exhaustion.
''Afternoon, Arch,'' she greeted him with a warm smile. ''Are you still coming up with your blueprints?''
''Yes, Alexa gave me plenty of ideas,'' he answered. ''Now peace will reign across Thrylos I can start improving almost everything. Expand cities and build new ones, the only fighting I'll be doing is Terravians or monster hordes on Orientia.''
''Ashoka tells me the Orc tribes have asked to meet you,'' she suddenly revealed.
Archer's eyebrow rose in curiousity as he responded. ''She mentioned it but I was caught up talking to Anatoly. I'll be going there in a week and traveling into thier lands to meet with the Orc King and Queen.''
Her blue eyes widened in suprised but he motioned to a nearby chair. ''Sit, Lara. I want you to help me with some things.''
The Dragonkin beauty agreed with a nod, sitting down beside him as he handed her some hot chocolate. ''Take this, it will keep you warm as the cold air comes,'' he said.
Following that, Archer showed the redhead most of his plans, amazing the woman who went over everything, eyes tracing every words, focusing on the drawings. Elara glanced at him, jaw slack as she questioned. ''Underwater crops? How does that work?''
''There's stuff on the ocean floor,'' he revealed. ''I've had Dem and Kass harvest some for me while we head back to Draconia.''
''Why don't you teleport us back?'' she asked once he finished talking.
Archer glanced at Elara and answered while taking a sip of the sweet drink. ''Because the world will not see us,'' he pointed to a nearby fleet of Novgorodian fishing vessels. ''They will spread the word that will reach to every corner of Verdantia and beyond.''
''So you want to put on a show of force?''
''No exactly, it's more like showing people that Draconia is the strongest empire on Thrylos,'' he responded.
Elara giggled. ''Apart from most of Orientia and all of Frostwood, plus the other continents that I'm sure are out there,'' she said.
''And that there launches one of my new programs,'' Archer took out a piece of paper. ''Four small fleets, traveling north, south, west and east to see what they can find. I know some of your girls will go, especially Demetra, Kassandra, Lucrezia and a few others.''
The redhead's eyes widened, her jaw dropped before shaking her head, asking. ''The people will love this, how will the fleets be comprised? We have to send atleast ten transport ones with each group.''
Archer was surprised at her words but nodded in agreement. ''That's the plan, maybe the girls can spilt up going with a different group? It's not like they won't be in contact, the tattoo's help.''
Following that, the couple went through the list and added things the expeditions would need and the commanders leading it. Days stretched on as he spent time with Aisha, Elara, Teuila, Demetra, Kassandra and Olivia while sailing back to Draconia. When he told the harem about the expeditions to the four corners of the world they were all excited.
By the time they docked in Sunfire City, Teuila has volentereed to lead the southern expedition alongside Maeve and Nyx. Archer suggested they paired up on the ladies adventure as he teleported between the groups. Demetra, Embera and Inara offered to go north.
Surprisenly, Colestah offered to join the expedition and joined Halime, Llyniel and Kassandra to head toward the Western Passage. The Wood Elf was excited to see the wild jungles she'd read about in the library. Halime was going to capture any poison monsters she found on their jounrey.
Lastly, Lucrezia, Eveline, Ashoka, and Aurelia wanted to go east. Once the members who wanted to go said their peace, Archer got to work organizing it until Mary spoke up through the tattoo. ''What about the deep sea? Legends say there's many lands hidden from the world above?''
''Would anyone want to spend months under the water?'' he asked skeptically.
''I want too!'' Hemera's cheerful voice echoed out.
Archer chuckled and was thankful that he was sitting on the balcony of his private room on the ship. They were passing Avidia and Olivia ordered them to stop of in the southern most port thanks to a Mana Storm heading straight for the fleet.
''I would like to experience such a world,'' Nyx's tired reply came soon after.
''I'll go!'' Leira said. ''Ella said she would watch Evelyn and bring her into the Domain when I want to see her.''
Archer was suprised at the three women but shrugged. ''You'll be stuck in a submarine? It may be big but won't surface for months unless you find one of these lost worlds.''
''Understandble,'' the Sun Elf instantly replied only to be interrupted by Aeris.
''Can I explore underwater, Arch?'' she chirped. ''Grandmother has gone to Pluoria for an emergency, and now I'm able to get away.''
Upon hearing the news, Archer called the four women to join him. They settled into the chairs arranged on the balcony, their presence drawing a warm smile from him. He greeted each with affectionate kisses and embraces before taking his seat. His expression turned serious as he addressed them. ''This is a dangerous undertaking. Are you certain you're ready for it?''
Just then, a portal opened and Mary, the Nameless Thing or Primordial stepped out with a grin as she spoke. ''I'll accompany them, it should keep my kind at bay if we travel deep enough.''
''How far can these submarines dive?'' Leira inquired, her cat ears twitching.
Archer shrugged. ''As far as they need to, the mana shields are created by using my mana and I've been at the lowest levels,'' he answered.
''Will Dem's or Kass's people attack?'' Hemera added, a worried looked appearing in her golden eyes.
''No, they're allied with Draconia and their father's seem to love me,'' he revealed, chuckling. ''I think they wanted to get on my good side, considering I'm close enough to becoming a Dragon God.''
Just then, Brooke, Nefertiti and Sera appeared, causing Archer to grow suprised with their visit. The older brunette quickly spoke up, a knowing grin on her gorgeous face. ''Have you heard of the Misty Mountains to the southwest? That may be a good place to establish our empire?''
''The what?'' he replied, confused.
Brooke glanced at the pink-haired succubus who explained. ''It's a legend but recently a Fire Elf fisherman reported sighting them in the distance but sea monsters drove him back. Embera told us remember?''
When Archer heard this his eyes widened. ''Oh yeah, I forgot because the famine just started.''
He shook his head and looked at the older woman. ''I assume you want to led this expedition?''
Brooke nodded, a big smile appearing. ''Me, Nefi, Sera, Talila, and Nala will lead it, many of us want to get off Draconia now the war has stopped.''
''That makes sense,'' Archer agreed with a nod.
Following that, the Necromancer sisters refused all offers, they were working on the Death Army. This news pleased him just as Sia revealed that she will be training her legions while spending time with Freya. Aisha, Fianna, Dellah, Edith and Meredith didn't want to go. Ayrenn the High Elf wa traveling back to Verdantia now peace had appeared, she wanted to visit her homelands.
Anastasia was helping out her sister, the Horde Queens busy working on their swarms, making them even stronger while Vivienne and Varaliana were waiting to give birth, this surprised the harem when finding that out. Alexa suddenly jumped in usign the tattoo. ''I want to join Mary! I'd love to see the underwater world,'' she said, giggling.
Archer shook his head with a grin and summoned the navy-haired woman, who materialized from the Domain. She exchanged warm greetings with the others before her eyes locked onto the towering wave surging toward them. A scream escaped her, drawing laughter from the group as a shield sprang to life, deflecting the wave.
The shield held firm, its glow casting a soft light across the balcony as the wave crashed against it, spraying mist into the air. Alexa, still catching her breath from the scare, shot a playful glare at them all. ''You could've warned me!'' she huffed, crossing her arms, though a smile tugged at her lips.
