Hestia and I went downstairs to prepare breakfast. However, it was so late that we ate breakfast at lunchtime. Because of this, I made a very nutritious breakfast—with plenty of meat and eggs.

Once we finished eating, I chatted with Hestia about my plans for the coming days. Of course, I hid a few details regarding my plans involving the Loki Familia.

However, I let her know about my plan to launch a new book and bring Lili into our Familia.

Surprisingly, she was more interested in my new book than my plan to bring Lili into the Familia. When I pointed this out, her response was:

"I already expected you to bring her into our Familia. I was waiting for it."

Well, Lili often comes to our house, and Hestia also knows about my relationship with her.

*Bella's POV*

"This is amazing." I had just finished reading the third volume of Re: Zero, and as always, it was incredible. Thinking about the author's face, I can't understand how someone like him could write this.

No, I don't mean that in a bad way.

He's tall, handsome, and looks very strong. He seems like the kind of man who's all about battles, just like most adventurers, with no interest in books or anything like that. So when I met him, I was astonished.

"I feel like seeing him again. He's so handsome~~ Plus, he praised my art a lot."

After that, I went to sleep.

And to my surprise, I received a letter from Elma the next day!

[Luan said he wants to meet with you before releasing the next volume of Re: Zero. He wants to discuss some ideas for the cover.]

Elma also told me about a new series of books Luan was planning to publish soon and that I might be creating the covers for those as well!

Not just the covers but also illustrations for the book's inside.

That sounded exciting.

I started feeling motivated!

"Bella? Can I come in?" My mom entered the room. She had long, white hair like mine.

When she saw Luan's book on the desk, she sighed.

"You really like these books, huh?" She sat on my bed. "You mentioned you met the author, right? You seemed completely smitten with him."

"Mom! Don't say things like that."

"I'm just curious. I'd like to meet him too since I'm also a fan. Why don't you invite him over?"

"He's not my boyfriend or anything! How could I just bring him here?"

"You don't need to be dating a man to invite him to go to your house. Just tell him I want to meet him."

"I'm sure he'd misunderstand!" My face felt hot. "It's impossible. I won't do it!"

"I don't understand why you're so shy. Your father and I aren't like that."

"Enough! Let me sleep more!"

"Alright~~ But don't forget to invite him for dinner."

"I said it's impossible!"

A few days passed, and I finished the fourth volume of Re: Zero as well as the first volume of Overlord. During this time, I also searched for Lili, and thankfully, she's doing fine.

She found a new job and is no longer going to the dungeon.

She's working as a shop assistant. Fortunately, she seemed happy and wasn't facing any discrimination or trouble.

"Now I need to meet with Bella to plan the cover for Volume 4 and discuss character designs for Overlord, as well as the illustrations."

But I was surprised when Elma said Bella wanted our meeting at her house.

It was a pleasant surprise. Even Bella's mom is a fan of mine.

"I'm really curious to meet Bella's family—or rather, her mom. I wonder how beautiful her mom is."

I'm more interested in her than in Bella.

"Knowing who Bella really is makes me a bit..."
