Volume 2 Chapter 55: Magic Shop
Volume 2 Chapter 55: Magic Shop
"Let's go to the magic shop now!" Keith was excited! This was one of the reasons why he wanted to come here!
There should be interesting things sold in the royal capital!
"Alright," Camelia chuckled, "The store is close to here."
It didn't take long for them to arrive there. And when the three entered, they saw many magic tools.
"Welcome to my store. What can I do for you?" The clerk greeted.
"Keith, you can go ahead and ask what you want." Camelia smiled.
"Thank you, Grandma." Keith smiled and asked the clerk,
"Do you have any magic items for storing food?" This was something Gus had asked Keith to buy. The one they had at home was malfunctioning. He wanted the latest equipment.
The clerk smiled, "We have the latest model that stores food. Please check it out!" Keith was brought over to the box.
A cooler? Keith realized what he was staring at was a cooler.
"This is the latest cooling storage we have. It even has the function of creating ice!" The clerk stated.
"Really? How does it work?" Camelia was interested.
"It's simple, Madam. Place water into this storage compartment here and wait a few minutes." The clerk showed them how to do it. And before long, ice came out!
"That's incredible!" Camelia clapped her hands!
"We'll take two!" There was no need to say anything about it as she wanted it.
She saw the glint in Keith's eyes. He was serious about this as well!
"Thank you for your patronage!"
Keith asked, "Do you have anything with heating magic?"
"Heating?" The clerk tilted her head.
"Mmhmm. To use for cooking," Keith nodded. There was something else he wanted.
"If you're looking for heating, then look no further! Here are some interesting magic tools." The clerk brought them over to some stoves.
"These are the latest magic stoves."
"We got this one at home. I want something that emits heat without any fire." He wanted to use heat waves to cook it.
The clerk frowned when he heard that, "I'm sorry. But I'm afraid we don't have any of that."
"I see." Keith sighed. It was a long shot. But it was to be expected.
"Despite not having the tool, we have something that uses heating." The clerk said as he quickly took something out. It was crystals.
"These are heating crystals."
"Oh, you mean those things we put in heating lamps?" Keith questioned.
"Yes. These are the ones. Injecting mana causes the crystals to emit heat."
"I see." Hearing that, Keith nodded,
"I will take all of them. Is that fine?"
"Sure. Please take it!" The clerk handed it to Keith. These crystals were smaller than normal ones.
They wouldn't be used for a lamp. And it wasn't needed in the capital. That was why the clerk was selling them to Keith cheap.
"I will pay for it all," Camelia stated as she saw Keith's excited expression.
"Thank you so much, Grandma!" Keith was all smiles as he looked at the heating crystals in his hand.
"Anything for my grandson. Now that we've gone to all those stores, how about we have a little break and have lunch?" Camelia suggested
"Sure!" Keith and Derek nodded. Keith was eager to taste the food in the royal capital.
Camelia sighed, "But please don't have high expectations. It won't be as delicious as anything you made, Keith."
Nothing would taste as great as Keith's dishes.
"Haha. It's fine. I want to try new things." What kinds of vegetables will I find?! Keith was excited to find out what the chefs were going to make.
"Alright. I know of a restaurant to go to." Camelia decided to bring them over to a restaurant. It was posh and fancy. There was a long line of people as well. But Keith and Derek didn't mind as they waited.
With such a long line, that meant many people loved the food. This would be interesting.
And it was finally time for the three to come.
But before the three could get there,
"What do you mean that there is no seat for me?!" Keith turned his head to see that there was a chubby kid. And he seemed to have other people besides him. He looked to be from a noble house.
"I'm sorry. But we don't have a table right now." A waiter said with a wry look. But that caused the child to be even more furious,
"How could there be no table?!"
"You will have to wait in line."
"Do you know who I am?! I'm the son of Count Mills! I can have your shop close down!" The kid screamed out without a thought!
But then the child pointed at Keith's group, "You there!"
"Hmm?"
"Hand over your spot!"
