A Fallen Knight-Lost art of Necromancy

It was dark when Severus woke up. It was strange for him to sleep in the daytime but all the stress and spells took a heavy toll on him. One thing was sure, he needs to find remedies for curses otherwise his body will continue deteriorating.

Sigh, what a troublesome and long day it was.

Severus groaned in sleepiness and lazed around in bed.

Knock, Knock.

A knock was heard on the door

Severus had always been a light sleeper so the knock on the door instantly jolted him awake but he was still muddleheaded.

"Yeah, who is there outside?"

He spoke and with that, he went forward to open the knob of the door. Severus was in a half-awake and half-sleep state so he didn't notice his robes and opened the door.

"It's me Desella", came a timid voice.

Severus rubbed his eyes in a daze and smiled lazily."Oh, it's you Desella. Do you want anything?"

As soon as she heard his slightly nasal voice Desella went week on her knees. The final blow to her little heart was when she looked up to see his lazy appearance. Severus was wearing the same clothes which he was wearing in the afternoon but looking at him now added another charm to his looks. His shirt was loose and the top buttons were undone which were barely covering his fair collarbones.

Now since Desella was standing so close to Severus she was able to see his well-built body and the veins which were present under his fair skin. It was a feast for the eyes. Now only a halo was left on Severus' head that was stopping him from being called as a diety.

Desella cheeks burned red like apples after she heard him. Severus was standing slantingly on the door with one hand under his cheeks and other on the knob.

"Hi, Desella. Are you okay? Why are you dazed?", Severus asked in surprise.

Desella instantly denied and shook her head.

"No, No. Actually, you slept for too long. It's evening now so I came here to wake you up for the dinner."

"How sweet of you", Severus genuinely complimented but in an instant he became alert. "Dinner? Did you make dinner? As far as I know, there were no ingredients in the house. Don't tell me you ventured outside on your own? Even if you did where did the money come from?"

Desella smiled sheepishly.

"Actually I had some gold coins in my pocket so I exchanged them for buying food. Even if I don't eat food as a mortal you need to eat it for survival. I can't let you become weak"

Severus was amazed at this girl's confidence and he stared at Desella like a chicken looking at chicks as a proud father.

Desella instantly became embarrassed under his stare.

"I am sorry if you didn't like going outside of mine". She apologized. She really was wondering whether Severus would be angry or not.

"Aaaah....don't. Just don't apologize. There is no need. This is your life and you have all the right to follow your own will.

Desella heartbeat shook instantly. These were so simple words but she waited nearly an eternity to listen to those words. Desella became happy from inside and she excitedly asked Severus for dinner.

"Sure, give me 15 minutes I will join you after I take shower". He replied and then went inside again.

On the other hand, as soon as Severus closed his door Desella scratched herself.

Desella went into the kitchen and got busy there.

When Severus came out of his room after shower he saw Desella setting up cutleries for him. Severus felt odd but he didn't comment on it.

Desella was the first one to break the ice." Oh you are here. Are you done then let's have dinner". She politely asked.

Severus didn't say anything and he quietly sat on his chair. Desella wasn't used to Severus' quite behavior but she didn't point out that.

"Is Noworry not coming for dinner? I didn't know what he liked so I brought a large box of bird food". she explained while scratching her head.

"No problem. I don't think he is going to join us soon so let's wrap it up. I need to visit someone tonight so I don't have much time left.

"Later"

Desella was confused.

"Are we going somewhere? Where are we going ?"

"We are going to sneak inside the castle", Severus replied without even blinking. It was as if he was describing the insignificant work.

"Whatttt.....cough cough we sneaking. It seems fun."

Severus remained quiet and expressionless. "Finish your dinner later when noworry comes we will discuss the plan for tonight."

Thud!!!!!!!

Desella quietly was quietly eating her dinner when she heard a loud thud.

"Did you listen?"

Both asked simultaneously.
