"Dragon Slayer!"

Guts instinctively called out to the sword. It trembled for a moment before suddenly floating up from the ground. Guts reached out, and the Dragon Slayer spun through the air, flying straight into his hand.

Bang!

Guts caught the handle, and the sword fits perfectly in the palm of his hand. It felt like he was holding his own child for the first time. The Dragon Slayer hummed with a low sound, vibrating as if alive.

"It is alive." 

Flora explained, waving her hand. 

"The thousands of souls you have killed with the blade have infused it with their essence. This much contact with the astral plane created a kind of consciousness within the blade."

As she spoke the candles around the room extinguished, plunging the space into darkness. The soft black glow and humming sound of the Dragon Slayer illuminated the room.

The corner of Guts' mouth trembled. His lip turned up like a devil. Guts' teeth could be seen trembling. Guts' only eye trembled as a variant of emotions flashed in his eye.

He finally had it.

He finally had the weapon to kill him... The body of Guts trembled as it revealed a deep anger and hate. Flora herself shivered at the dark emotions that Guts let out.

Shierke felt her stomach churn as the emotions of Guts' body assaulted her like spears going through her body. Guts noticed Flora and Shierk shaking. He quickly controlled himself.

"I am sorry. My emotions took control of me for a moment."

Flora smiled as she stood up from the ground. She waved her hand, showing that she did not mind.

"it's alright. You have your reason to feel like that."

Guts nodded as he looked down at his weapon again. It was the same shape and size along with its weight. No... He could feel it. He can increase its weight if he so wishes.

'Did absorbing the Beherits give Dragon Slayer unique abilities?'

Guts did not rule that out. Skull Knight is capable of slicing through space and dimensions after all. Guts could feel 2 other abilities in Dragon Slayer.

"Miss Flora. You look like you need a rest. I will talk to you tomorrow about your request."

Flora nodded with a smile. Shierke watched Guts walk out. Her eyes locked onto the Dragon Slayer. She felt a shiver as the eyes and face on the blades shifted.

Once Guts left. Flora turned towards Shierke.

"What do you think about him and his group..."

Shierk woke up and looked at Flora.

"Master... But..."

Shierke felt conflicted. Is she truly destined to leave with this group? Then what will happen to Flora if she is not here?

"Just think about it."

Flora smiled as she sat down in her chair. On the table was a cup of tea. She smiled as she picked it up and took a sip of it. Shierke sighed as she turned to walk out.

"Yes... Master."

Flora smiled.

Serpico, Isidro, Farnese and Casca were eating their food when Guts came out of the room. Guts walked towards them. Puck and Evarella froze as they looked at Guts.

"G-guts?..."

Pck said with a trembling mouth. It felt like a huge monster larger than the sky was walking towards him.

"Don't worry. My sword was enchanted just now. That is what you feel."

Guts took out his sword to show it to everyone. Serpico opened his eyes as he started sweating. Farnese started shaking and Casca just stared at it in wonder.

Isidro stared at Guts with shining eyes. He looked at Dragon Slayer and then his own sword. He sighed as he lost his hype.

"Everyone. I have some things to hand out to you."

Suddenly, Shierke appeared behind gits with a cloth in her hand. It had something wrapped in it. She went and put it down on the table under everyone's eyes.

She opened the cloth and it was revealed to be a cloak.

"This is a cloak that has the blessing of the wind element. And this is a sword. It was the feather of a bird, also blessed with the wind element."

Sierk introduced. The group watched in awe while Casca remained eating her food.

"This is for Serpico."

Isidro jumpoed up and he glared at Shierke.

"Hey, you brat! Why not me?"

Shierke sighed before taking out a dagger with a red blade. Isidro stared at it in mild annoyance.

"Why a dagger?"

"Because we don't have weapons for a brat."

Shierke clapped back as she handed Isidro the dagger. It had small salamanders floating around it.

"it is a blade blessed by the fire element. Its blade is pure lava."

Isidro grumbled under his breath as he tried to stab the table to test it out. But Guts stopped him since it's not their home.

"This is for those 2"

Shierke handed 2 chain male shirts to Farnese and Casca. Shierke also gave Farnese a blade made of silver to ward off spirits and monsters.

Shierke looked at the remaining weapon. It was an axe, but then she just shook her head, There is no way that Guts would need this when he just got a weapon like that made for him.

"Shierke. I can't thank you enough."

Guts smiled as he bowed to Shierke. The group stared at Guts with a flabbergasted look again. This is the second time he has done that to anyone. It was a little kid of all.

Shierke looked at Guts for a few seconds before she nodded her head. The team soon went to sleep since they would be leaving tomorrow. Guts slept for 3 hours before he got up.

He put his armour and weapons back on, and then he walked out of the barrier that protected the house.

Once he did. Guts entered deep into the forest. The trees started to turn swirly as ghosts took possession of them. The trees attacked Guts without mercy.

Guts pulled out Dragon Slayer. He could the second ability of the sword. Guts leapt at the trees, and with a slash of the sword, they were cut in half.

Guts used normal human strength in the swing itself. But the sword still went through them like butter. Its sharpness has increased to such a degree that iron is not a problem for even a normal human.

"Abyssal Corruption."

Dragon Slayer glowed as a suction force appeared. The fallen possessed trees turned into a soul state before it was sucked into Dragon Slayer, increasing its power.

Guts sensed a force tugging at his mind. This ability allowed him to strengthen and evolve the Dragon Slayer. However, it came with a risk: if the weapon absorbed something with a strong will, it could backfire on Guts himself.

Of course, that is not a problem for Guts himself. He has an unshakable iron will.

"Now. Let's test the final ability."

"God Slaying Edge."

Guts slashed Dragon Slayer down with force. A black slash that absorbed even the moonlight flew out. It cut the trees in its way. Leaving behind a slash in space itself.

The inside of the slash showed a way into the second world. The astral place where ghosts and anything like that reside.

Turning around. Guts made his way back towards the tree house. The space slash in the air started closing. Once he was gone. A space portal opened in that place.

A horse stepped out of it. Skull Knight looked at Guts' back with an impressed light in his eyes.

"To have come this far in a mere 2 years of being in contact with the supernatural... Even I am not sure of defeating you."

Skull Knight muttered as he opened another portal. He jumped into it. The calm and silence returned to the forest.

The next morning...

The abilities that Dragon Slayer gained:

Guts could increase the weight of Dragon Slayer as long as he could hold it.

Dragon Slayer gained the ability to absorb anything it kills. But if the will of what he killed is stronger than Guts, it could cause harm to Guts' body.

The third ability is God Slaying Edge. Dragon Slayer gained the ability to send out space-flying slashes. It could also open portals to the Astral plane.
