A Berserker Reborn

Farnese and Serpico watched Guts take Casca away. They were shaking in fear as they looked at the exploded cave and the long slash in the earth itself.

"The Black Swordsman... Is much stronger than before."

Serpico muttered with sweat on his forehead. Farnese trembled as she looked at Guts.

"That Criminal..."

Back with Guts. Guts looked at Casca beside him. His body trembled from joy and relief. Guts turned to look ahead at the tower in front of him. It looked like a hand.

The sun was starting to set already. The time it took to get here and to retrieve Casca was not a few minutes. It was already almost night.

In the castle, a beherit suddenly opened its eyes. It looked at Guts and Casca, and he grinned since the keys were now united. Very soon, this forsaken world would be gone!

Guts took Casca, and he walked towards the castle. He was going there to kill Mozgus and his personal torturers. He knows no matter what he does, he can't stop moving forward until the Godhand is all dead.

He is going to destroy everything in his way.

On top of the tower, Skull Knight looked down at Guts. he turned to look into the tower where a small egg was. He turned and rode his horse towards it, trying to slash it in half.

But the egg vanished as he slashed at it. Skull Knight opened a portal, and he appeared in the world of the dead. Thousands of rotten corpses lay on the ground, with the perfect egg of the world in front of him.

Skull Knight did not do talking, and he rode towards the perfect egg of the world again. But the perfect egg of the world just jumped over him before vanishing.

"Looks like it is already beginning..."

Skull Knight muttered as he noticed the bodies start to fuse together into a black blob-like thing. It grew in size until it was taller than buildings.

"I am starving..."

The voices of those who died due to hunger were heard from those dark blobs.

"It hurts, please stop..."

The voices of those who were killed.

"My body is burning..."

The voices of those who were burned by the church on stake.

Voices were heard from those dark blobs. Skull Knight slashed his sword, and a portal opened. He jumped out of it. And he was now on top of the tower.

"Guts... How will you do... Will you fight or save her?"

Below, Guts entered the castle, and he killed every single soldier who dared to try and stop him. He made his way up to the top, Isidro and Puck following him.

Casca was held by him with his hand. He used his metal arm to hit the air faster than sound, sending out air blasts that crushed anyone in his way until he arrived at the top.

Boom!

An air blast tore the door open in shreds. Inside it, Mozgus and his torturers were standing there. Mosgus looked back at him, and then at Casca.

"Kill him and Capture that woman! She is the witch!"

Mozgus ordered a tall and limp man to take out a chain with claws in the air. The chain spun in the air before he attacked Guts with it.

"I don't have time to play these games with you!"

Boom!

Guts took his sword. And sent a horizontal slash towards Mozgus and his torturers, cutting all of them in half. The slash continued, destroying the upper part of the tower.

"Huh? The towers... It's destroyed!"

The people down below looked up in shock as the tower had a huge hole blown into its side. The egg of the perfect world watched in silence. The eclipse would soon be complete.

"This world... It's better to be destroyed... Isn't that right?"

The egg of the perfect world said as he looked to the side. There the cursed child was, the egg of the perfect world stuck his tongue out and the cursed child was placed into his mouth.

"Go and dream of a wonderful world. We will die together. And not lonely."

Guts placed his sword back into its holder. He walked towards the hole in the tower when the tower suddenly started shaking. The outside was getting darker at a fast speed.

The tower tilted. Guts ran towards Isidro, Puck and Casca. He took them, and he jumped out of the tower, tens of meters above the ground. But he was not worried.

Boom!

The tower wall trembled as Guts landed on it. The people below the wall looked up as they saw Guts, and then they looked at Casca. The news of Casca being the witch was spread.

"The witch! Burn her!"

The people shouted in rage and fear. Guts looked at the far distance. The ground was shaking, and it burst open as dark sludge-like blobs were released.

"It's starting..."

The Skull Knight muttered as he watched from a distance. Guts looked at the crowd shouting, and he became enraged.

"Fuck! Die your bastards! I don't give a fuck about some randoms!"

Guts sent you a slash that instantly killed hundreds of people below. They turned silent as they saw the hundreds of people being sliced down, and then they turned around to run as they screamed in fear.

"Guts! Are you out of your mind! What do you think you are doing!"

Puck opened his eyes wide as he saw the people dead on the ground. He shouted at Guts, but he stopped as Guts turned towards him.

"Hey, shut up, would you?"

Puck looked down sadly. This is the first time Guts talked to him like this. Isidro looked at the distance and noticed that a dark blob was moving closer.

Guts and Puck looked in the distance and noticed huge blobs of shadows with thousands of souls and faces inside them. They crushed the running humans under them, killing them, stripping them of their flesh.

The sky had turned pure black. The tower was in the shape of a hand. It was just in front of the sun, blocking its light. And casting darkness over the place.

"At this rate, the entire city will become a sacrifice."

Guts muttered, but he did not go to help the people below. He is not a saint. He refuses to fight for others. The only reason he even saved Casca is because of the body's will.

"Quick!"

The door leading to the city walls was kicked open. Farnese and Serpico stumbled onto the city wall, their faces pale as they looked down at the ground. Where the civilians were.

"Huh? The Black Swordsman is here?"

Serpico looked to the side, and his eyes widened. If the Black Swordsman does anything to him and Farnese. He won't be able to do anything to stop him.

"This criminal is here?!"

Serpico winced as Farnese shouted. Guts looked at them, and they both froze from the look in his eyes. It was like being looked at by death itself. If they moved the wrong way, they were dead.

On the ground, everyone was being eaten and crushed by the dark blobs of souls. The blobs started to get higher, blocking out the sun almost entirely before they arrived at the city wall.

"Everyone! Duck!"

Gut voice rang out, and like instinct, everybody ducked. Guts turned around, his body moving much faster than sound. He used his full speed to swing around with Dragon Slayer.

Boom!

The world lit up as the dark blobs were instantly cut for hundreds of meters. The slash was even more powerful than when he destroyed the cave, going 3 hundred meters more.

Everyone watched in awe as the slash cut into the black blob, blowing it back from them at a great distance. Below, the brand of sacrifice started shimmering a crimson colour.

Guts looked up, and he saw the egg of the perfect world. He was glowing a bright light. Inside his body was a normal baby, which started to shine a bright colour.

The baby started to grow, its body grew, and the hair on his head turned white and long. The top of the perfect egg of the world started cracking, and soon it cracked in half.

Boom!

A white light pierced the sky, and the dark blobs exploded into a mist. Guts and everyone looked up at the sky, where a sun was shining brightly onto them.

"GRIFFITHHH!!!"🤬🤬🤬
