Eddie's confusion grew as the conversation progressed. Was Ryan really around there he had when he met his friend Vernon, or was something fishy going on? Before Eddie could refuse, Ryan offered him money in exchange for an introduction to Vernon.

Eddie hesitated, tempted by the offer. He could use the money, but should he really introduce Ryan to Vernon? Then he decided to introduce him to Vernon as he needed money to buy new drugs and Vernon was a free spirit with many clients from all walks of life.

"Okay, I'll introduce you to Vernon but you have to pay for my drugs too over there" Eddie said finally. "Do you have some time? We can go there right now."

Ryan agreed, and they headed out to catch a taxi. As they arrived at Vernon's house, Eddie rang the doorbell. Vernon answered, looking surprised to see Eddie.

"Hey, Eddie, what brings you here?" Vernon asked. "And who's your friend?"

Eddie introduced Ryan, explaining that he was looking to buy some drugs. Vernon invited them in, offering Ryan a seat.

As Vernon and Eddie stepped aside to discuss something, Vernon whispered, "Do you really know this guy? Is he a cop or going to cause trouble? I don't want any complications."

Eddie reassured Vernon, "Don't worry, he doesn't seem like a cop. He looks like someone who really needs the drugs."

Vernon nodded, "Okay, I trust your judgment. By the way, how were the drugs I gave you yesterday?"

Eddie replied, "They were amazing. It felt like my whole life had been transformed.Can I have some more."

Vernon smiled, "I'm glad you liked them. You can have some more, but it'll cost you."

Eddie agreed, and Vernon handed him a packet of drugs. Meanwhile, Ryan received a packet of ordinary drugs and Eddie received an NZT drug.

Ryan's eyes widened as he saw the NZT drug. He was wondering how should he get the NZT from them. He had seen Eddie take it in the movie, and he knew its incredible effects.

Ryan asked Vernon, "What's that drug? Can I get some?"

Vernon replied, "Those are new on the market. If you want some, I can give you some, but they're expensive."

Ryan didn't hesitate, "Don't worry about the cost. Give me some."

Vernon nodded, "Okay, wait a minute." He returned with the NZT drug and handed it to Ryan.

"The total cost will be $250," Vernon said.

Ryan thanked Vernon and paid him $250, which covered the cost of Eddie's drugs as well. As they parted ways, Ryan felt a sense of excitement and anticipation.

As he rode back to his apartment, Ryan planned his next moves. First, he would use the NZT drug to make money in the stock market. Then, he would investigate the factory where the drug was made. Finally, he would learn chemistry and create a new version of the drug with no side effects.

As Ryan arrived at his apartment, the owner stopped him and handed him some fruits. "Here, you don't look well. Eat some healthy food."

Ryan thanked him politely and headed upstairs. As he entered his room, he sat down at his computer chair, feeling confident and determined.

He took the NZT drug and put it in his mouth. Suddenly, he felt a surge of knowledge and memories flooding his mind. He remembered everything he had forgotten, and his brain felt transformed.
