10x Rewards: Becoming Invincible With My Sign-in System

Chapter 183: Elara's Power

"This is you going all out?" Xavier asked, baffled at how quickly Elara had taken out both the Tank and the Marksman.

"Kind of!" Elara said, still having a calm expression. "But this weakened state limits my true capabilities. I've trained with multiple Rank 5 Guardians, so it isn't a big deal."

She looked back at him and said, "In marksmanship alone, I stand above the rest."

Xavier felt a chill hearing her words for some reason. He stared into those tranquil eyes and felt his heartbeat increase. Giving her a wry smile, he said, "You and Gon are the same in this aspect. Arrogant as hell."

"It's confidence!" Elara said, drawing her bow once again. "If you aren't arrogant and confident, then how will you force the world to do your bidding? As a Mage, you should understand this."

"I know." Xavier nodded and then asked, "Do you think Gon will be as strong as you at your age?"

"Stronger! Much stronger!"

That was all Elara said before slaughtering the next wave of minions. Xavier also tried to follow her, but suddenly a gust of wind chilled him.

Before he could even make out what it was, he heard Elara saying something, but he didn't hear it clearly. Because a sharp pain assaulted his being before he dispersed into the winds.

An arrow passed through the scattered particles as Elara drew the string once again and shot four more arrows in a single second, her eyes trailing behind empty air.

She then turned around and released the loaded arrow, which cut through the air before embedding itself into an empty vessel near the inner turrets of Ash Domain.

A woman stumbled out of thin air, grasping her side where the arrow struck. A chunk of her HP bar dropped before she resumed her run.

"Tsk! This weakened state!" Elara clicked her tongue and said. "Their Jungler got Xav, and their Gold Laners are coming again. I'll hold them back."

[Rosa: Want my help, big bitch?]

"Weaklings like you will only distract me, so don't bother!" Elara replied, her tone icy.

[Rosa: …You actually mastered it, huh. Well, good luck! I'll farm first.]

With that, Elara raised her bow again, stood upright, and sent a flurry of arrows hurling at the incoming Tank and Marksman, but the Tank blocked them before marching forward.

"How much more can you handle?" Elara muttered as she took a second to shoot the next arrow. She blinked and then let it loose.

The moment she released the string, a deafening noise shattered the silent atmosphere as a single crimson arrow crossed the distance between them in no time and struck heavily against the Tank's shield.

The impact pushed the Tank back further, but the Marksman used that time to release her set of deadly arrows, each carrying a different set of effects, but all of them went null against Elara.

Even though she was an Archer, she stood like an impenetrable wall between her enemies and her base. Just like Aegon had suggested, she didn't hold back at all and let loose, dealing heavy damage even to the surroundings.

Aegon emphasized this point. The destruction was important, not on whom it was being done. And Archers like her were best at that.

Just as Aegon completed his work on the Mid Lane Outer Turret, he abandoned his lane and went towards the EXP Lane. Keeping an eye on the score, he chuckled, "You lost, Cali?"

[Cali: I'll win the next round.]

Aegon just shook his head, as he knew she wouldn't really get discouraged by something like this. It was quite the opposite, since she loved fighting and always looked for a worthy opponent.

Since the start of the Supremacy Games, she had dominated. While she enjoyed it too, her true excitement came from battles like this, so he was also happy for her.

[Rosa: I need some support. I'm killing Hydra!]

"Sorry, but no support from me this time," Aegon said as he crossed the creeps to reach the top lane. "Xav and El can support you."

[Elara: Understood.]

[Xavier: Gotcha! Time to throw some soaps. You already traumatized the prince, so I think it'll work.]

Aegon smiled and stopped before the Outer Turret of the Top Lane. Giving a side glance, he found Cali running towards him at full speed, her armor helping her movement.

"Where's that guy?" she asked as she destroyed a minion in a single punch.

"Not everyone is lucky enough to get a gentleman like me on their team," Aegon said as he raised his hand towards the turret. "He went back to heal, probably."

Just as Cali was about to say something, she noticed a figure on the other side, and her lips automatically tugged upward into a toothy grin.

"Go on!" Aegon said and then focused back on his work.

He could still hear the sound of their fight beside him, but he continued his task. The outbursts from their impacts messed up his hair and many times almost pushed him away, distracting him.

As they leveled up, their strength also went up quite a bit, and their battle intensified as well. The Fighter was a good counter to Cali, as he wouldn't lose as the battle progressed.

Aegon didn't think about anything else and simply focused on carving out runes on the turret. Since he was using Weaver's Hand, he knew nobody could see what he was doing.

Only a high-rank RuneMaster could detect his work, but even they would be astonished by how he was working.

Soon, the fight beside him reached its result as Cali once again shattered the Fighter's chest, killing him. Then she used his Rune Formation flags to heal herself. It was easy to set up since he had personally changed it.

Somehow, potions didn't work in the Supremacy Games, so there were only two ways one could heal, either through healers or through the base.

But there was a third method. The Rune Formation materials were treated as weapons, or rather equipment, so one could bring them in and use them to heal.

The only problem was that a RuneMaster's future was already secured, so they never participated in the Supremacy Games.

It was true for all Soul Pathway Cultivators in general.

[Elara: …the prince is annoying.]
