In the Prime Minister’s office, a piercing scream shattered the air.
“What in the…!”
It all began with the arrest of Ford, the tutor to Miguel, the Prime Minister’s son.
The Prime Minister had believed he was choosing the best tutor for his son, but the reality was starkly different—Ford’s methods bordered on violence.
But it wasn’t just the Prime Minister who was deceived; many nobles found themselves duped.
The truth had come to light, spreading shock and disbelief among the aristocracy.
Trembling, the Prime Minister stared at the bold headline in the newspaper.
“So, this is the revelation about those ‘highly esteemed tutors’ in society?”
“I-Is this really happening?”
“The heirs of our clients have filed complaints. Ford and his group of tutors have a history of subjecting their students to traumatic education. It’s a wonder no one has died yet.”
Their actions, tantamount to excessive punishment, were inexcusable, especially given their entrusted role in educating the heirs of prominent families.
But the accused tutors refused to admit their wrongdoing.

“A noble’s heir subjected to whipping in the name of education? And they think it’s fine to inflict serious injuries during magical control training because a healing spell erases any trace of harm? They fail to understand that healing spells can’t mend emotional wounds. It’s lamentable that such individuals are teachers.”
“The Spartan-style education of Ford and his cohorts was well-known. The clients likely thought nothing wrong. Harsh discipline was primarily reserved for lower-ranking nobles. It’s no wonder the abuse went unnoticed, especially among the children of high-ranking nobles, who were kept within the bounds of rigorous education.”

The Prime Minister’s complexion darkened.
It was to be expected; he too had played a role in endorsing Ford and his associates.
The first to speak out, the Viscount’s family, had a long lineage of esteemed sorcerers.
The current head was reputed as the kingdom’s foremost court sorcerer.
Unfortunately, his heir showed little talent in magic, confirming what had been dismissed as mere gossip.
It was so dire that whispers of being a ‘dropout’ circulated behind closed doors.
Therefore, it’s not surprising that we introduced Ford and his associates.
After all, the prime minister must have had calculated motives.
There were likely considerations about forging a close bond with the court magician, given Miguel-sama’s age, and potentially paving the way for future connections.
The unexpected turn of events, however, caught us off guard.
Whether it’s simply bad luck or something else entirely, the situation has become increasingly dire.
“This incident cannot be overlooked.”
“I know. But first, we must thoroughly investigate Ford and his associates! Delve deep into their backgrounds!”
“That’s already in motion.”
Upon hearing my response, the Prime Minister’s eyes widened, and he froze momentarily.
Then, he turned to me, puzzled, and spoke in a flustered tone.
“You’re quite efficient, aren’t you?”
“I’m honored by your praise. So, what will be your course of action?”
“Without a doubt, we’ll take the appropriate action!!”
You could practically see the veins throbbing on his forehead with fury.
With matters having deteriorated to this extent, not only would it tarnish the Duke’s reputation, but it would also erode the trust of the nobility.
Such an outcome would undoubtedly lead to significant shifts in the balance of power among factions.
And given the existing turmoil, this is the last thing we need.
As the prime minister, this is a crucial moment.
