Samuel only gave his promise to help with her son in the future, it might not seem trustworthy but now, she felt he wouldn't betray her. They were practically lovers at this point sharing two bodies and one soul, she had complete trust in him. Beside, she couldn't have ask for a better partner in her life, others couldn't do it but she had seen how he did things, he was cunning with his enemies and kind to his friends!

It was just his whim, life of these thirty or so people that he rescued might not be important in the eye of someone like him but he was a responsible person.

Others would think that it was cruel that he wouldn't go out of his way to find such people but he knew in his heart no matter how much money he spent or how much connection he had, there was no way for him to eliminate all evils in the world.

Just cases were bound to happen in the future, everyone's circumstances were different. They were only here because of many twist and turns. What if he didn't attacked Richard's compound that night and waited a while longer? What if he only surveyed the outside and waiting to ambush him.

These thirty people would either be taken in by the local officials or would have fallen in the hands of Rockefeller family who would either suppress them or directly get rid of them to take care of the evidence.

Now that they were with him, he asked Nicole, Lucie and Anastasiya to help them as best as they could. Those that were kidnapped and still had family could go back if they wanted to in couple of months while those that wanted to stay could stay and work under him.

Even if they wanted to live in their native country, Samuel's business was vast enough to accomodate them. For now they just need to lay low and replish themselves.

The area was large enough for them to do anything, he didn't restrict them from doing anything. If they had hobbies or like to pursue higher knowledge or like to learn some skills to support themselves in the future, Samuel gave full support.

All of these things ultimately, fell on Nicole and Lucie. They were very busy, Nicole didn't even had time to think about Samuel because for the past few days she had been running around the vast compound only sleeping when she couldn't continue.

Samuel forgot that she had always been following his lead, even back home Amanda would be the one taking the lead in kitchen and taking care of other work. Nicole who never came in contact with real managerial work was exhausted.

She didn't know how people had thousands of employees under them and still had chance to relax. Obviously, the naive girl didn't think about handing matters to other maids or even butler since she made a vow to him that she would do a good job.

She felt like it was important to take care of everyt little detail herself and only leaving other to do what she felt like wouldn't require making decisions. This was the reason why she was so busy!

" Madam, please take a break. You look pale and haggard. You haven't rested much these apst few days!" One of thr maid said seeing Nicole arrive from another one of her visits.
