Above the Great Dao

The Purple Heaven looked like an Immortal Realm, with various Immortal Mountains atop the leaves of the Purple Vines. The mountain bodies undulate, and among the branches and leaves, there are numerous villages and cities. People seem like insects on gourd vines, cultivating fertile fields, sowing crops, and thriving.

Chen Shi flew closer to take a look, realizing these beings aren't truly human. They have human heads and human bodies, but with bee-like abdomens and wings, and their villages and cities are built in honeycomb shapes.

Their size resembles that of an adult. After coming out of their houses, they often take to the air, collecting nectar from the Immortal Mountains.

Aside from these Bee Men, there are also Ant Men, with human heads and ant bodies, having four legs and two arms, moving quite swiftly.

Chen Shi also saw the Ant Men's carriages and horses traveling on roads carved out between the vine leaves and branches. These were caravans moving between different villages and cities. The mounts in front of the carriages were creatures with human heads and ox bodies, quite large in stature.

The roads were wide enough for five or six carts to travel side by side. When reaching the main stem of the vine, the roads were built to circle around the main stem, spiraling upwards.

Every circle featured several large platforms spanning dozens of acres, where beasts could rest. On these platforms were teahouse and snack shops, whose owners were often Rat Men, with rat heads and human bodies.

"What a strange world."

Suddenly, a wave of heat surged in, growing increasingly hot. Chen Shi looked up to see a massive Sun slowly rotating around this Purple Vine, gradually descending from the sky.

This Sun was orbiting the Purple Vine!

"Seems like the Sun of the Void Great Realm."

Chen Shi stepped aside from the Sun, which flew past a hundred miles away, stirring up waves of heat.

The sunlight was intense, radiating Pure Yang Dao Power, containing vibrant vitality, nurturing all things, far superior to the giant Sun formed from the eyes of the Outer Heaven True God!

"My cultivation is inferior, but the Dao Power of Pure Yang far surpasses that of a True God!"

Chen Shi thought to himself, "The master of this place has a very high Daoist Practice."

That Sun was about eight hundred miles in diameter, composed of Pure Yang True Qi. Strangely, as the Sun orbited the Purple Vine, wisps of Purple Qi streamed out from the Purple Vine, integrating into the Sun.

Following closely behind the Sun was a Moon, not as large as the Sun, but still three to four hundred miles in diameter.

This Moon was made of Taiyin True Qi, its entire form a mass of True Qi, reflecting the sunlight, but the light was cold and tranquil.

"This place must be the Dao Realm of an Immortal Family, that is, the Heaven."

Chen Shi's heart stirred slightly. The Dao Realm is the next level after the Void Great Realm, its essence being the Daoist Field.

A Cultivator refines their Primordial Spirit, creating a Daoist Field, which then progresses to open the Void Great Realm in the Returning Void Realm.

After this, the Cultivator achieves Harmonization, becoming an Immortal, known as a Heavenly Immortal. However, at this point, the Void Great Realm cannot yet be called the Dao Realm. One must cultivate to the True Immortal Realm to transform the Void Great Realm into a Great Dao World, known as the Dao Realm, and only then can it be called Heaven.

Chen Shi had just begun to open the Void Great Realm, refining Pure Yang and Pure Yin into the Sun and Moon, just beginning to have some understanding of the Void Great Realm. His Skull Body's Cultivation Realm was higher, having surpassed Mahayana and entered the Ascension Realm, but he had not yet achieved Harmonization and knew nothing of the Dao Realm.

This was his first time entering the Dao Realm of an Immortal Family, and he couldn't help but stop to observe.

"This Immortal Family's understanding of the Yin Yang Dao is exceedingly high!"

Chen Shi watched the rotation of the Sun and Moon, feeling a surge of admiration, "They have already comprehended the principle of Yin Yang Transformation, Pure Yang as the Sun, transforming all things, Pure Yin as the Moon, nourishing all things. Remarkable, truly remarkable! If they go another step further, they could comprehend the principle of mutual assistance between Yin and Yang, the merging of Water and Fire, equaling me."

He flew upward, continuing to observe.

Aside from Yin and Yang, this Immortal Family also employed some Magic Skills from the path of Earth Gods. For instance, in the villages and cities on the Purple Vine leaves, they worshiped various Divine Beings. These Divine were responsible for favorable weather, punishing evil and rewarding good.

And the birth, aging, illness, and death of living beings in the Dao Realm were managed by a unique underworld system of this place.

The Underworld was also established on the leaves of the Purple Vine. Chen Shi summoned his Primordial Spirit and mingled among the Ghosts, browsing roughly. The underworld here adhered to a Reincarnation system. After the death of a person, they were judged by the underworld. If guilty, they were sent to suffer and expiate their sins, and once the sins were cleansed, they could be reincarnated, reborn as different beings based on the merit accumulated in their previous lives.

Those with high merit could be reincarnated as Beast Men; those with low merit as Bug Men; even lower merit, as livestock or plant people; and those with the least merit as insects, birds, fish, or grasses.

Chen Shi gained some insight, thinking to himself, "The soul count within the Purple Sky World must be fixed, cycling through reincarnation in the Purple Heaven, forming a closed-loop system, neither increasing nor decreasing. This place could already be called an complete world. That Lady could send me here possibly because this place also has reincarnation. But why does a complete Immortal Family Dao Realm still require the Purple Vine to support the heavens and earth, Qian and Kun?"

He was baffled.

"The master of the Purple Heaven possesses vast Divine Skills and extremely profound cultivation far beyond my reach. There must be a purpose for using the Purple Vine to connect the heavens and earth. I might as well go pick the gourds."

He quickly searched, flying upwards along the Purple Vine.

There were also many cultivators here, with sword lights occasionally flying swiftly through the vine leaves. Seeing this, Chen Shi hurriedly concealed himself, summoning Primordial Qi to form an Invisibility Talisman, hiding his tracks and quietly approaching those sword lights.

Inside the sword lights were the bodies of cultivators, each flying upward. Once they reached a great height, the sword light descended, and as the sword light dissipated, the group of cultivators revealed themselves and proceeded towards the palace ahead.
